What you will do

Formelio is seeking an experienced Front-End Engineer who is passionate about building mobile and desktop web applications. This will primarily be within the ZNO team and for the ZNO product, but it might also include other products and projects in the future. We are looking for a Front-end developer who has extensive experience with React and NextJS. You will be one of the driving forces in our mission to improve healthcare in the Netherlands. Our teams are constantly iterating, solving problems, and working together to empower people around the Netherlands to take their healthcare journey into their own hands. At Formelio we work with a microservice architecture and use cutting-edge technologies such as Kubernetes and Helm, React, Typescript, Java Spring Boot, Rust, FHIR, and more.

As a Frontend engineer, your core tasks will be:

• Work on different front-end projects for user flows and data visualization

• Develop new features for different web applications

• Creating internal tools for other developers such as setting up testing frameworks and extending the component library for our services.

• Collaborate with Product Designers, Product Managers, and Software Engineers to deliver compelling user-facing products and experiences.

• Participate in and organize Tech Talks to share knowledge and best practices.

We're looking for someone with enthusiasm that works well in a flexible working environment. Being in a scale-up environment means there are deadlines and milestones that we try to achieve, so naturally you must be well-organized and manage your time well. Even though you're a good collaborator, you can also work independently. Along with these soft skills, the following requirements are needed:

• 3+ years experience as a front-end developer.

• Fluent English speaking and writing skills.

• You must be a team player and thrive in a multidisciplinary team.

• Experience with our front-end technology stack (Typescript, React, Tailwind CSS, MUI, GraphQL, and NextJS) as well as Docker, Kubernetes, and Linux (or MacOS).

• Have a good eye for design. Strong experience with UX and UI.

• Ability to be flexible and be ready to switch focus.

• Ability to understand the complexity of digital healthcare.

Not mandatory, but valuable

• Experience in health tech is a plus
