👩‍💻 What will you do 🧑‍💻

As a Product Designer at Formelio, you will play a crucial role in professionalizing and expanding the design of one of the biggest citizen healthcare platforms Ivido PGO (Persoonlijke Gezondheidsomgevingen). You will be actively involved in optimizing the user experience of thousands of Dutch citizens who want to have complete control and overview of all of their healthcare data, that previously was scattered around many apps and patient portals.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Deliver interaction and service design artifacts early in the process: user flows, wireframes, service blueprints, and interactive mockups
• Collaborate closely with Design researchers to understand the customer journey and test the impact of our products
• Conduct usability tests to validate decisions and refine designs based on data-driven feedback.
• Design visually compelling and consistent user interfaces aligned with brand identity and product goals.
• Collaborate with development teams early in the process to collect requirements and ensure accurate implementation of designs in the later phases.
• Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to define product goals, requirements, scope MVPs and releases.
• Take an active role in facilitating ideation sessions, design sprints, creative workshops, and presentations of designs.
• Apply strategic design to define product vision, advocate for user-centered principles, and communicate the value of design within the organization.

With your affinity for digital design, you’re able to leverage your enthusiasm and inspire the rest of our design team. You enjoy working together with various specialists and bring structure to maintain a clear overview of what is needed to achieve the best result. For this role we’re looking for someone that has:

We’re looking for

• 5 years of experience in the role of a product designer or similar positions such as UX designer or Service Designer.
• Strong critical and analytical thinking, with the ability to design complex systems.
• Deep understanding of user-centered design principles.
• Experience in the healthcare industry or other industries dealing with complex systems, extensive information architecture, and multidisciplinary customer journeys.
• Proficiency in Figma (Sketch/Adobe XD) and familiarity with other design collaboration and prototyping tools like Notion, Slack, Miro, etc.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

🚑 Not mandatory, but helpful 🚑

• Knowledge and/or previous experience in healthcare
• Dutch speaking and writing skills
• A background HealthTech
