👩‍💻 What will you do 🧑‍💻

Formelio is constantly seeking talented back-end engineers to join our team. Our agile teams comprise skilled engineers who collaborate closely to drive innovation in healthcare throughout The Netherlands. We are currently in search of a senior back-end engineer who excel in dynamic and forward-thinking environments.

As a back-end engineer at Formelio, you will play a pivotal role in advancing our mission to enhance healthcare in The Netherlands. Our teams are continually engaged in software development, problem-solving, and fostering collaborative efforts to empower individuals to take charge of their health. At Formelio, we embrace a microservice architecture and leverage cutting-edge technologies like Kubernetes, Helm, Golang, Rust, and FHIR.

Your primary responsibilities as a back-end engineer at Formelio will include:

• Collaborating seamlessly with your agile team during sprint cycles.

• Partnering with software architects to conceive and develop new applications supporting the Formelio ecosystem.

• Crafting and maintaining microservices utilizing the latest technology stack.

• Implementing robust DevOps pipelines to automate deployments to our Kubernetes clusters.

• Working on complex interoperability problems with systems.

🥏 What do you possess as a Back-End Engineer🥏

We are actively seeking individuals with positive energy who excel in a flexible working environment. If you thrive on effective communication, both within your team and with stakeholders, and are comfortable working in a scale-up setting with tight deadlines and milestones, then you may be the perfect fit for our team. Strong organizational and time management skills are essential in this role. In addition to these soft skills, the following qualifications would be highly desirable:

• University degree in computer science or technical degree with a few years of engineering experience.

• Proficient in spoken and written English.

• You must be a team player and thrive in a multidisciplinary team.

• Proactive, self-motivated, and capable of independently devising solutions to complex challenges.

• Experience with our technology stack, which includes Java Spring Boot, Rust, and Kubernetes. Knowledge of NodeJS and Go is considered a plus.

• Good knowledge of programming and using Linux/MacOS

• Eagerness to acquire new technical skills, and stay updated with emerging trends.

• Language-agnostic approac to software engineering.

• Experience in the health-tech industry would be a valuable asset.
